For: The Check-In Counter
The Check-In Counter is an upcoming travel blog that asked for an identity package with a preference for a minimal, modern, dark look. The name is a double entendre. It can literally mean the check-in desks often seen in hotels and airports. It also means the quantitative count of the places they've "checked-in to" or experienced.
The Look
— It is inspired by the visuals of classic airport departure boards and handheld tally clickers. Numbers or letters flip or slide to reveal a new word, a new destination, a new adventure. Typography is clean and legible, inspired by airport and road signages.
Animated Logo
Visual System
— Use the slide animation to incite curiosity, tease announcements, or reveal photography. Applicable on social posts and on the website.
